About Us

Founded in 2005, the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association of Washington, D.C. has funded several important programs in support of the FBI Washington Field Office Community Outreach Program such as the Junior Special Agent Program and the Mentoring Program.

The Association has continued with to provide support to the DCPS and the FBI Washington Field Office’s Citizens Academy.  The Academy provides business, civic, religious, and community leaders an inside look at federal law enforcement in general and the FBI in particular.

The overall goal is to foster relationships and understanding between FBI Washington Field Office and the community—and so improve the FBI’s ability to solve/detect crimes.  Equally important, the academy helps citizens' make their communities better and safer.
